We’re looking for a motivated sales professional to join our highly respected sales team as Area Sales Manager.

Extrudaseal is the UK’s leading supplier of gasket and ancillary products to aluminium window and door fabricators. We also supply a wide range of flexible extrusions to the automotive industry, marine and leisure sectors in addition to the wider construction industry.

In response to our continuing growth, we’re looking to appoint a highly organised and driven sales person who can support us in delivering growth from existing accounts, in addition to developing new business opportunities across sectors.

Summary person specification

Results driven and self-motivated, the successful candidate will have the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy, with a proven track record in sales in the window and door industry.

A background in aluminium is a prerequisite for the role. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the market and the leading aluminium window and door systems within it, with the ability to communicate sometimes technically complicated features clearly and succinctly.

An established network of contacts within the window and door industry is also an advantage.

EUROSEAL , is a highly successful UK manufacturer and supplier of plastic profiles to the construction industry. We are seeking a Setter with experience of PVC extrusion to join our manufacturing operations in Birmingham

What the role entails

This job is key to ensuring all products are manufactured in accordance with supplied formula or specification, through safe and effective operation of the production equipment.
Daily activity will include:

  • effective start up, running and shut down of extrusion machines
  • monitoring production processes ensuring optimum running conditions
  • tooling change overs
  • resolving machine related production/quality issues
  • providing efficient end of shift handovers

Skills/Experience required

In order to be able to carry out the tasks required your background in Plastic / PVC Extrusion is essential for this role.
Delivering quality safely is important to us so you’ll need to impress us with your ‘safe working’ ethics.

Job description

  • Supporting the business-to-business lead generation process by cleansing and managing data as well as generating new leads by mining digital and social channels
  • Contacting leads by phone and email to set up face-to-face meetings on behalf of the sales team
  • Supporting the sales team as required through a complete sales cycle

 

Summary person specification

  • Results driven and self-motivated, the successful candidate will have the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Direct experience in telesales is an advantage, as is experience of working in the window and door industry, however, exceptions may be made for the right candidate.
  • A proven ability to meet objectives and strong communication and organisational skills, are a prerequisite for the role.
